Mrs. Luna was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She received her Bachelor’s degree in education from the University of New Mexico and took some time to study in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mrs. Luna taught Spanish as a foreign language for 11 years in a public high school. She taught levels 1 through 3 and for the last 2 years of her time there became the department chair for the Modern, Classical, and Native Language department. She took of the last 5 years to raise her son and is now returning to the classroom. Mrs. Luna is very excited for this new venture as a first grade dual language teacher.
Working in a Catholic school has always been an aspiration of Mrs. Luna’s. Some of her favorite pastimes include exploring her faith through history, theology, and spiritual studies. She is very excited to teach and share her faith with her students and the community.
