Yvette Martinez started teaching over 25 years ago in the public school system. She taught in 4 th through 6 th grade classrooms during that time. After retiring, she knew God was calling her to continue her journey in Catholic Education, so she chose St. Mary’s Catholic School.
Yvette has a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of New Mexico. She also has an endorsement in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages). She has had the pleasure of working with special education, gifted, ELL (English Language Learners), and regular education students throughout her teaching career.
She loves spending time with her husband, two children, three grand-children, and her two dogs. She enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, and fishing. She especially enjoys arts and crafts and dancing the day away.
